Fingers of Dawn is a poetry collection that deals with pain, agony despair, and hope
"The Rebirth": Is the process of transformation of man from a creature thrashing in despair, into a spiritualised being caught up in the ethos of liberation. It is the second birth of mankind.
"Heroes Of The Night": An existence that burns off the candle of life from both ends, a frenetic fast lane agitation that ends up in burn-out, physical and psychological exhaustion.
"The New Woman": Presents woman as a universal, spiritual, trans-cultural ideal, a perfect model and symbol for all times and spaces.
"Despised Genius": The tragedy of exceptional talent caught up in the webs of social disdain, exploitation and misery. An unholy paradox of transcendent wealth wallowing in misery.
"Paradise Lost": The chasing of shadows and the abandonment of the real substance by man in most circumstances. The return to base after the futile exodus is usually more frustrating, for the total loss might be irreversible.
"Picture of Dawn": Presents the harmonious interaction of the various partners that announce the glorious dawn. It is a symphony of hope in life.
"Faceless Agony": Depicts the self-annihilation of man, by man through weapons of mass destruction he fabricates, and the subsequent drama of the deployment of peace efforts, to solve the very problems that mankind creates and perpetuates.
"Ontethics": Is a picture of the eternal unity and infinite diversity of being in total action.
"Power of Regeneration": Presents the cycle of life as it transits through phases of burial, precipitation, germination and maturation.
"Facelift": Is the movement from despair to hope, from sub-existence below the threshold of life, to the outburst of infinite possibilities of, for self- experience and expression.
I just found out about your writing. I will be reading every piece on this site, since I enjoy fine literature. Emade can vouch for me :) My love to her.
